Electric Gear Pump

Description

The Electric Gear Pump is designed to operate for in excess of 10,000 hours with a fluid temperature range -40°C to 85°C. Motor protection is to IP 67 and comes with a two-year warranty as standard. Warranty may be extended at additional cost. The Pump weighs 3.9Kg (8.6lbs), is of robust design with exceptional corrosion and water resistance. It offers Quiet operation, Variable Flow Control and is capable of inclusion in a CAN control, PWM or standalone installation (Customer preference).

Note

  1. To run at default speed you will not need to connect the 6 way plug
  2. To use PWM and not CAN you will need to connect both
  3. Using CAN you will need to connect both
  4. You will need to specify the correct mating plug to use 6 way plug for CAN or PWM and a blanking plug if you are not using

Performance Limits

Vibration

Vibration exceeding the TSM Pumps recommendation can shorten the life of the pump by damaging the electronics and/or the motor shaft.

Pump Location

The conditions in which the pump operates can have a detrimental effect on the pump life. The pump is rated to IP 67 but care should be taken when choosing a suitable location to avoid areas which accumulate excessive dirt and moisture.

Inlet Pressure

TSM electric water pump requires and inlet pressure greater than -0.3bar (-5psi) at the operating speed under all operating conditions.
